Rain or Shine: We Swim! Swimming is an outdoor sport, and we do not cancel meets based on a forecast. Please arrive at the meet regardless of what the sky looks like. Always assume the meet is ON unless you receive an official alert otherwise.
In instances of extreme weather the life guard may clear the pool deck area for safety and everyone will be advised to wait in their vehicles during the delay. The county and team coordinators will do everything possible to resume the meet that same evening once the delay period has passed without further lightning/thunder. A meet is only officially canceled or postponed by a joint decision of the Referee and Team Coordinators.
All urgent weather communication including delays, restarts, or postponements will be sent via the SwimTopia App. Ensure you have the SwimTopia app installed on your phone. Enabling notification is the only way to receive real-time "Alert" push notifications during a weather event. This is how to stay on track with the meet as well.
